Once you get to Whistler, you encounter a veritable “Sea in the Sky”, Green Lake, who’s icy-water’s edge guards the finishing stretch at Nicklaus North. Chateau Whistler Golf Club delivers spirited mountain-golf opportunities and could well be the ultimate mountain-golf experience, while down in the valley Whistler Golf Club delivers the spirit of what golf in Whistler is all about—simply having the best time imaginable amidst some of the most beautiful surroundings you will ever experience. There’s “Big Sky” indeed in the Whistler region, and no trip is complete without playing Big Sky Golf Club in nearby Pemberton in the shadow of the downright Himalayan Mt. Currie. Cap off the trip with a flight from Whistler to Blackcomb Mountain on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, and/or through the Douglas firs on the world’s first (and in our opinion, best!) zip line, and maybe even via seaplane back to Vancouver or better yet on to Victoria, and you might well say that your journey from Sea to Sky was the best journey of your entire life!
