One of our Founder & CEO’s great regrets is not doing a semester at the University of St. Andrews while still in college. There is so much more great golf to play besides just the Old Course and so much to experience away from the courses altogether that indeed it could well take an entire semester to really take in all that the “Auld Grey Toon” has to offer. So why not go “total immersion” on your Scotland golf vacation and spend the entire time in St. Andrews? There are many benefits, not the least of which is the relative ease of playing the Old Course at the most reasonable price point possible and in fact it wouldn’t be hard to play it a second time as well! While you’re at it, you can play some of the other magnificent St. Andrews Links venues as well as nearby Carnoustie and Kingsbarns, along with our favorite “hidden links” that are sprinkled throughout the Kingdom of Fife. They will name a barstool after you at the famous Dunvegan after you’ve completed this amazing tour and held court there each evening. Immerse yourself in the “Auld Grey Toon” and spend an entire week in St. Andrews! Every golfer should do this at least once!

Tour Agenda

Day 1: Arrive in Edinburgh and travel to St. Andrews. Play the New or Jubilee Course.

Day 2: Play Carnoustie.

Day 3: Play Crail Golfing Society (Balcomie Links). Possible 2nd round each remaining day of the tour on the Old Course, or the New, Jubilee, or Eden Course!

Day 4: Play The Castle Course at St. Andrews.

Day 5: Play The Golf House Club, Elie.

Day 6: Play Kingsbarns.

Day 7: Play The Old Course at St. Andrews. Don’t forget to play the St. Andrews Ladies’ Putting Club, the legendary “Himalayas” putting green, before departing!

Day 8: Depart Edinburgh. Call Hidden Links (R) upon return to start planning your next tour!
