1:00 PM Afternoon Free or transfer to Akureyri Golf Club
for practice round
7:00 PM Welcoming Reception: Arctic Open 2003
Drawing for places – Tee times announced
9:30 PM Transfer back to town on call as desired
Day 4
The basic day today is free for tours or whatever
activities. The Golf Course will be CLOSED for final preparations.
Foreign Players will start teeing off around 9:PM
7:00 PM First tee offs for the Arctic Open based on Number
of Players
Players in early foresomes are generally all Icelandic or
on special
request of individual. Snack Bar & Bar OPEN 24 Hours
Transfers back to Hotel are on call by individuals or foursomes
Day 5
NOTE: Tee times start at 4:00 PM today. Specific
Tee times are based on the finish of the player the day before.
Also generally everyone likes to finish as close to Midnight
as possible to take advantage of the week-end nightlife in
Akureyri
Day 6
Today is also open, the golf part of the tournament
is over.

NOTE: For the Golfer that can´t get enough!!
The Volcano Open (held in the WESTMAN ISLANDS) is expected
to start on Wednesday July 2nd. Special packages that include
all transport for travel and golf along with accomodations
are possible on request.
These packages then are for stay in the Reykjavik area on
the 29th & 30th of June and July 1st. Travel for the Volcano
open commences at 7:30 AM on July 2nd.
Therefore, if someone wishes to play BOTH tournaments, the
two days prior to the ARCTIC OPEN can be “plugged in
to” June 30th / July 1st instead of on the front end.
