 ROYAL BELFAST GOLF CLUB |
|---|
 | Golfers beat a path through Belfast City as they travel from Royal County Down to Royal Portrush, or vice-versa. Very few though know that they are passing by three wonderful golf courses, and fewer still take the opportunity to stop and sample the tranquility and golfing bliss that awaits at these clubs. These are the Royal Belfast Golf Club, the Belvoir Park Golf Club, and the Malone Golf Club. Any one of them would make a perfect break from battling the wind, weather, sea, and linksland of the coastal courses. Though parkland in nature, they are terrific golf courses in their own right. Royal Belfast has one of the best clubhouses in all of Ireland, and runs along the bay with powerful views of Belfast Harbor. Belvoir Park is one of the most highly-regarded inland courses in the British Isles, one of those Harry S. Colt designs sought out by connoisseurs of the great course architects. Malone Golf Club might be the most difficult challenge of them all. We highly encourage a stop at one of these clubs as you travel through Belfast, in fact, we know you would enjoy spending a night or two and playing them all! | |
